My son races a quartermidget with an animal engine.  We have experienced between approx 1-2 ounces of oil migration from the valve cover vent to the catch can.  Is this considered excessive?  Also, can I put a recirc line similar to the High G-Force bypass from the valve cover back to the crankcase via the spare oil fill hole in order to recycle the oil?  What about venting from the crankcase spare oil fill hole directly to the catch can to equalize the pressure?  Will this damage the rockers because there is not enough crankcase pressure to push oil up to valve cover area?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Bill J.

NO
the crankcase needs to be vented to the atmosphere. If it isn't you will build up pressure in the crankcase and blow out a seal or gasket.
I'm afraid if you vent from the spare oil fill plug you will push out a lot of oil from the crankcase.
If you put too much oil in the crankcase to begin with it will push it out.
Be very careful here. A little oil in the catch can is better than not putting enough in the engine.
