I ran my engine for about 20 minutes yesterday evening to fine tune my idle speed. I shut the engine down for about 30 minutes and came back to start it up again but I can't get it to stay running. It would start to fire every few minutes but only briefly. I noticed there is a large air gap in the fuel line about 2 inches from the fuel inlet on the carb. I'm guessing it's either the air in the line or dirt in jet? It's a brand new engine that's newly broken in.

Jfisher, Why don't you private me a way to contact you.  I would love to trouble shoot online for others who might encounter your issue in the future but this is a short week due to a race this weekend and want to get you back to racing or day dreaming about it.  lol
